Heritage weaving is an important part of the local economy and history, and sadly, is a dying craft. The Ali family weaves cloth specifically for LILY FORBES with fibers naturally dyed in a small, family-run, safe, clean facility in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh. The cotton threads are dyed by third generation natural dyer, Mahesh.
